Time to start eating light!

Spring is in the air and our thoughts turn to cleaning our homes and packing away the winter woollies.

So, time to take a break from heavy foods and turn on our taste buds to lighter foods. Fish!

Fish and seafood are thick in protein and Omega-3s to help our bodies shake off the last of the colds and coughs. And sea fare is a great transition to the lighter meals to look forward throughout the summer.

Try one of these delicious springtime options as recommended by Julia at Swanage Bay Fish. “Dover sole and herring is plentiful at this time of year,” says Julia. “Herring could be on the menu if we’re lucky, but hard spring tides mean our fishermen are in the bigger bays of Poole and Bournemouth and catching Plaice, Brill and Turbot.”
